The Guelph Naturopathic Healthcare Clinic
Michelle is a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor and graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. In addition, she holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. Michelle is truly passionate about helping patients develop and achieve their health goals. She implements patient-centred care utilizing a variety of treatment modalities. Michelle's practice includes clinical nutrition and diet counseling; acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine; herbal medicine; homeopathy; and lifestyle counseling. These modalities are utilized with the intent of creating health/body awareness within an evidence-based model of healthcare. Michelle is a strong proponent of integrative healthcare and aims to work within each patient's healthcare team to achieve the optimal outcomes. Michelle's mission to inspire and reinvent people's health was recently reinforced by her trip to Kenya and the naturopathic work she completed with the organization, Foundation for Integrative Medicine in Africa. Caroline Harvey-Smith, PhD., N.D.Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Caroline graduated in 1988 with a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Western Ontario. She worked as a Research Scientist with Agriculture Canada before attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. This background gives Caroline a unique scientific perspective from which to analyse individual cases. In addition to nutrition and lifestyle counselling, homeopathy, botanical medicine (Eastern and Western), soft tissue manipulation and acupuncture, Caroline also offers laboratory analysis to aid in the diagnosis of health concerns. Caroline is available to give lectures or informal talks about health-related topics to large and small groups. |
